This picture depicts an idyllic countryside scene, in a naive, storybook style.
Even here, in the highly developed UK, finding a safe place to live is often not an easy thing to do. With it's simplicity, this piece questions why it needs to be so complicated?
This piece of art is part of my Beauty from Waste series. It measures 32.5x32.5cm, and is created from reclaimed MRMDF, cut on a scroll saw, and painted with spray cans. The picture is mounted onto a birch ply backing board. It is fitted with a French cleat wall mount, so it's really easy to hang. This piece is intended to be left unframed.
