This is a landscape picture depicting a section of Exmoor in North Devon, known as 'Sparrows Path'. It is possible to clamber up an incredibly steep section of track, that climbs from the River Lyn, nestled down in the cool of the trees, at the bottom of the valley.

In summer, the ascent brings one through ferns, as far as the eye can see, up into glorious sunshine. This picture is my impression after making the climb, and then looking back down into the valley.

At the top of the hill is a village called Countisbury, which has a perfectly located countryside pub called The 'Blue Ball Inn'. Ideal for those who have earnt themselves a drink!

This piece of art is part of my Beauty from Waste series. It measures 32.5x32.5cm, and is created from reclaimed MRMDF, cut on a scroll saw, and painted with spray cans. The picture is mounted onto a birch ply backing board. It is fitted with a French cleat wall mount, so it's really easy to hang. This piece is intended to be left unframed.

If you are interested purchasing this piece, please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, or just go ahead and buy it, and I'll get it sent out to you without delay.
